Young vines, ripe tannins, and the silhouette label. Forbes at 92–93. Wine Enthusiast on the texture.

Princess Gaby is the Canon-Fronsac from the vigorous young vines — not a lesser wine, a different age of the same hill. The shop lists the bottle as the 2019. Three years of quiet work softened the texture. Density and power are still there. Fresh acidity finishes the sentence so the wine does not sit down.

Wine Enthusiast’s line, carried on the product page: ripe tannins, a texture that has softened, density mitigated by freshness. Tom Mullen at Forbes, 92–93 points: light, elegant aromas of blueberry, red cherry, and red plum; well-structured; elegant soft tannins; suave acidity; “a mid-afternoon beauty to start the weekend.”

The label is the silhouette. You will recognize it across a room, which is why it also turns up on screen — the shop’s still pairs Princess Gaby with Elsbeth. Twelve-bottle offers ship free.
