The shop’s note starts where the collection starts: 2014 Château Gaby, then 2016 Princess Gaby, and the rest of the flight that makes a Bordeaux evening make sense to someone who has never said “Canon-Fronsac” out loud.

This is also the spirit of the aluminum case in the maison’s photographs — “Your French Connection” printed in claret on the inside of the lid, bottles cut into foam, a Rolling Stones sleeve somewhere in the frame because this house has never pretended that Bordeaux must be humorless to be serious.
